Closing of the 2022-2023 school year at GS SAINT LUC
As part of HANDS DRC’s efforts to promote education, we organized the closing ceremony for the 2022-2023 school year. On this occasion, we welcomed ASSANI Berckmans, a member of HANDS Canada and also PCA of the same organization.




He handed out new briefcases, good quality pens from Canada, chocolates, pencils and notebooks for each student as they followed each other.





But he also collected suggestions and observations from the parents who were present at the closing ceremony of the school year, and there he promised to respond after consultation with the hierarchy at HANDS Canada.
FIELD TRIP CIRIRI SCHOOL(GSSL) to Kahuzi biega national Park in South Kivu,DRCONGO
A school outing on June 10, 2023, financed entirely by HANDS, for pupils of Ciriri Schools (GSSL), the activity concerned taking pupils in the 5th and 6th primary grades on a tour of the KAHUZI BIEGA park.




The activity began with a brief description of the park by the park authorities, followed by a hike in the park under the guidance of park rangers, and ended with meals.



Official recognition of Hands Canada Organization by the DRC government
HANDS, has been granted official documents recognizing and authorizing the organization to operate as NPO in the DR Congo.
